Sovereign Network Group is seeking a Workday Platform Manager in the South of England to lead the Workday platform, driving governance, delivery and continuous improvements. The role collaborates with People, Finance, Procurement, IT and business teams to align the platform with organisational priorities and to deliver secure, resilient services.

You will supervise configuration, releases, and operational support while managing risks, cost and stakeholder expectations in a complex enterprise

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing an enterprise platform (Workday preferred).
• Strong governance, release management and environment management experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering enterprise-scale platform improvements.

Following significant investment in our Workday platform for Finance and HR, we are looking for an experienced Workday Platform Manager to join our forward-thinking Business Platforms department. Reporting to the Head of Business Platforms, this is a pivotal role that will shape the future of our enterprise systems, driving platform excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement to support our colleagues and customers alike.The role:The Workday Platform Manager leads the management, development and continuous improvement of the Workday platform, ensuring it is reliable, secure, well governed and aligned to organisational priorities. The role provides platform leadership across configuration, release planning, service performance, supplier engagement and operational support, working closely with People, Finance, Procurement, IT colleagues and other business teams that rely on Workday-enabled processes.The role is responsible for establishing clear ownership, controls and ways of working for Workday as a strategic enterprise platform.
