Next Ventures is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workday Payroll Project Manager for a contract role with our client in London.
Start Date: Immediate
Location: London
Duration: 6 months + extension
Rate: OUTSIDE IR35
Responsibilities:
- Project manage the Workday Payroll project lifecycle phases.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Define project scope and objectives with stakeholders.
- Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (HR, Finance, IT) and vendors.
- Lead project meetings and communication, tailored to stakeholders.
- Ensure quality deliverables, incorporating stakeholder feedback.
- Manage project resources and team collaboration.
- Track project progress, KPIs, and report to stakeholders.
- Manage change control, stakeholder engagement, and alignment.
- Ensure regulatory compliance.
- Drive project decisions and problem-solving.
- Provide team guidance and support.
- Develop and implement a stakeholder management plan.
- Proactively engage stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and address concerns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
- 5-7+ years managing HRIS projects, with Workday Payroll focus.
- Experience managing full lifecycle Workday Payroll projects.
- In-depth Workday Payroll knowledge (configuration, processes, reporting).
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes and regulations.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred:
- Workday Payroll certification.
- PMP or equivalent.
- Experience with other Workday modules.
- Experience with Workday data conversion/migration.
