Job summary

Cygnet Health Care is seeking an experienced Payroll Implementation Manager to lead the payroll transformation from IRIS Payrite to Workday Payroll at our Kings Hill Office in West Malling, Kent. This FTC from now to 12 months will oversee all payroll implementation activities across frequencies, ensuring data integrity, testing governance and a successful go-live.

You will work with Payroll, HR, Finance and IT, coordinate workshops, and drive standardisation while managing risks and timelines.

Qualifications

• Proven payroll implementation or payroll transformation experience.
• Experience delivering payroll system implementations.
• Strong end-to-end payroll knowledge, including UK legislation.
• Experience with payroll testing, reconciliation and data migration.
• Workday Payroll implementation experience.
• Healthcare or multi-site organisation experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of the Payroll workstream within the Workday implementation programme.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestone schedules and critical paths.
• Monitor progress against timelines and escalate risks as needed.
• Coordinate payroll workshops, design sessions and stakeholder meetings.
• Ensure payroll deliverables meet agreed quality standards.
• Support governance forums and provide regular project status reporting.
