Job summary

Checkout.com is seeking an enthusiastic Engineer I to join the People Tech integrations team in London. You’ll own day-to-day reliability, support, and continuous improvement of Workday integrations, partnering with People, Finance, and Global Corporate Technology to ensure accurate data flows.

This early-career role focuses on owning integration health, documenting processes, and delivering scalable solutions across ERP and downstream systems.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year in any integration or technical field aiming to specialise in Workday integrations.
• Ability to monitor integration health and troubleshoot data flow issues.
• Collaborate with People, Finance and Tech to improve interoperability.
• Experience with system testing and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Workday modules and support data flows between Workday and downstream systems.
• Configure and support business processes, security roles, workflows, notifications, dashboards, and reports.
• Monitor integration health, investigate failures, and proactively resolve recurring issues.
• Troubleshoot data, process, and system issues affecting People Tech integrations and provide ongoing support to internal teams.
• Take part in system testing, upgrades, releases, and feature deployments, with a focus on integration readiness and regression coverage.
• Author clear technical documentation, integration runbooks, support guides, and knowledge base entries.
• Partner with People, Finance, IT, and other corporate technology stakeholders to improve end-to-end system connectivity and user experience.
• Support and enhance integrations with third-party platforms across the People ecosystem, helping ensure data quality, process efficiency, and operational resilience.
