Job summary
The FA is seeking an experienced Workday Functional Lead to drive the future evolution of Workday across HCM and Payroll. You will partner with Finance, HR, Digital Technology and external partners to translate business needs into prioritised, value-driven outcomes.
You will own the backlog, supervise releases, and provide governance and reporting insights while championing an ethos of delivering measurable business value for England's football community.
Qualifications
- Deep Workday expertise across HCM, Payroll, Absence and Compensation modules.
- Experience with Workday release cycles and SaaS platform updates.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes and employee lifecycle.
- Proven Product Owner/Functional Lead experience in Agile teams.
Responsibilities
- Own and refine the Workday HCM/PY backlog in collaboration with Product Managers, business stakeholders and delivery teams, ensuring alignment to business priorities, product strategy and the wider Corporate Workday roadmap.
- Translate business needs into effective Workday solutions across HCM, Absence, Compensation and Payroll.
- Lead backlog execution, configuration coordination, feature adoption and the assessment/validation of bi-annual Workday releases.
- Act as an HR Reporting and Analytics SME, supporting decisions with insights.
- Champion a tiered support model across Workday HCM/PY and ensure governance across the tenant.
