Talent is seeking a Workday HCM Lead to provide technical authority, design assurance, and subject matter expertise within a complex, large-scale government shared services environment. The role blends hands-on configuration with senior stakeholder management and team mentorship.

This position shapes the HR technology landscape for the public sector, ensuring systems remain robust, scalable, compliant, and aligned with government standards.

Qualifications

• Significant Workday HCM experience in senior roles, including configuration, implementation, or support.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end HR processes in large organizations.
• Experience providing technical leadership and governance in SaaS/ERP environments.
• Ability to translate complex business needs into robust functional designs.

Responsibilities

• Drive design, optimization, and governance of the HCM platform.
• Provide technical assurance and peer reviews of configurations.
• Oversee ticket queues, SLAs, and continuous improvement to reduce incidents.
• Lead requirements gathering sessions and translate needs into functional designs.
• Mentor junior analysts and contractors, supporting succession planning.
• Oversee Workday releases and regulatory changes for compliance and auditability.
