Job summary

A consulting firm is seeking an experienced Workday HCM Functional Lead for a UK deployment. This contract role focuses on leading test alignment workshops, validating test scenarios, and acting as a subject matter expert. Candidates should have over 10 years of experience in HR technology, including at least 5 years specifically in Workday HCM, and a deep understanding of UK HR processes and compliance. Excellent communication skills and knowledge of testing tools are also required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years overall experience in HR technology or ERP systems.
• 5+ years Workday HCM experience with configuration knowledge.
• Deep understanding of UK HR processes and compliance.
• Ability to design and validate E2E test scenarios.
• Strong knowledge of Workday integrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead test alignment and execution workshops.
• Monitor test progress across SIT, UAT, and E2E cycles.
• Act as Workday SME for HCM processes and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with Test Leads and Programme Management.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation of test outcomes.
