Job summary

UKME is recruiting a Workday Financials Specialist to join our IT Applications team in Knightsbridge, Central London. This key role owns Workday Financials configuration, reporting and optimization, partnering with Finance and leadership to ensure accurate, actionable outputs across the business.

You will deepen expertise, participate in process improvements and automation, and grow professionally in a supportive environment that values practical delivery and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Workday Financials in configuration and support.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles as implemented in Workday.
• Experience with Workday reporting methods, including dashboards.
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical system solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and manage priorities.
• Excellent communication with Finance and senior stakeholders.
• Exposure to Workday integrations.
• Experience with customer and intercompany billing in Workday.
• Experience supporting multi-entity or multi-country environments.
• Experience with Workday security model.
• Workday Pro certifications (Financials/Reporting) a plus.
• Experience contributing to Finance process automation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain and optimize Workday Financials in line with best practice.
• Act as SME for Workday Financials, resolving queries and issues efficiently.
• Proactively review configurations and propose improvements for performance.
• Ensure configurations support financial, operational and compliance needs.
• Design, build and maintain Workday Financials reports and dashboards.
• Translate high-level reporting needs into clear outputs for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Finance to support effective use of Workday Financials.
• Provide Workday training and guidance to users across the business.
• Support integrations and end-to-end Financials processes with IT and Finance teams.
• Contribute to Workday roadmap and automation initiatives.
