About the role

We seek an experienced Workday Developer to support technical development, health, and integration of our Workday platform, ensuring ongoing value and ROI. Responsibilities include creating robust coding practices, configuration, and support for Workday modules, working closely with IT and other departments.

If you have strong Workday expertise, including process flows, condition rules, and experience with AI solutions, this is a great opportunity to join the Crick as a Workday Developer.

You will be part of the IT operations team, working across functions to enhance how Workday supports organizational processes and user experience.

What you will be doing

As a Workday Developer, your tasks include:

1. Delivering agile sprints on time, meeting requirements aligned with business objectives, and supporting requests from projects and BAU.
2. Configuring and optimizing Workday modules, supporting design, technical specifications, and delivery plans.
3. Managing risks through tracking and mitigation strategies.
4. Designing and maintaining integrations, including APIs, EIBs, Core Connectors, and Studio integrations with other enterprise systems.
5. Monitoring system health and usage to ensure efficiency and security, supporting reporting.
6. Supporting compliance monitoring of Workday and its applications.
7. Troubleshooting and resolving BAU technical issues promptly.

About you

You should have:

1. Hands-on experience in Workday development and configuration in at least one module (e.g., HCM, Financials, Absence, Security, Integrations).
2. Experience developing AI and automation solutions.
3. Understanding of HR and/or Finance business processes and how Workday supports them.
4. Strong experience in system integration, including data uploads, validation, and proficiency with EIBs, Core Connectors, WWS, REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML.
5. Knowledge of Workday Security Model, including domain management, security groups, and role-based access controls.
6. (Desirable) experience with calculated fields, custom reports, and dashboards.
