Job summary

Workday, Inc. is seeking an experienced Workday Engineer to own the design and delivery of enterprise-grade Workday solutions across the platform.

You will work with product development, functional experts, and architecture teams to deliver secure, scalable client-centric solutions on time, while embedding governance and change management practices. The role requires Workday certifications and a background in HCM/FINS/Integrations/Reporting/Extend/Build/Prism, with strong SDLC, communication,

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on Workday development (or 4+ years Workday ecosystem).
• 5+ years of software development experience including Web apps.
• Strong grasp of Workday data model, security, business processes, custom objects/orgs, calculated fields, and reports/RaaS.
• Demonstrated delivery of production apps (portfolio or walkthroughs at interview).
• Proficiency with REST APIs and Workday Integration patterns (EIB, Studio, Core Connectors).
• Solid understanding of SDLC, peer reviews, and test strategies.
• Experience training or mentoring developers/analysts; ability to produce clear enablement assets.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
