Job summary

Platform Housing Group–through Platform Property Care–is seeking an experienced Work Planner to coordinate a multi-skill trades workforce for planned and reactive property maintenance. The role is home-based with occasional travel to Solihull offices and other group locations.

Core duties include scheduling, prioritising tasks, and maintaining clear customer communication with a focus on delivering first-time-right repairs.

Qualifications

• Strong IT skills, including Outlook and Word.
• Experience in building maintenance/construction administration as a work planner or scheduler.
• Familiar with workforce planning software (DRS preferred).

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Work Planner/ Schedulerwithin our Platform Property Care planning team that could be for you!

In this key role you will be working as part ofa highly motivatedteam planning a multi skill trades workforce to deliverplanned and reactiveproperty maintenance services for our customers.

Our team of Work Planners arecentral to delivering excellent customer service and ensuring repairs and installations are completed right first time.

This is a Full-Time role working 40 hours a week Monday toFriday 8:00 - 16:30 - so no weekend working.

What could you be doing?

Responsible for planning an operational multi skill trades workforce, maintaining contact with field teams,and liaising with customers, you will need tobehighly organised, approachable, and a confident communicator.

It isa busy role, juggling different priorities and you will need to remain calm under pressure, think on your feet and be able to work on your own initiative.But this won't phase you, as you will excel in organising the engineers and scheduling property maintenance and repairs. You will also have the support of a great team around you.

Who we are looking for:

• Strong IT skills, particularly Outlook and Word

• Experience of working in a building maintenance or construction administration team as a work planner or scheduler, planning a trades workforce is essential.

• Workforce (Engineers) planning and scheduling softwareexperience(DRS is preferred)

Ideally you will be based in the West Midlands area (Solihull, Coventry or Birmingham). Local knowledge will definitely help you succeed in this role.
