Job summary

East Lancashire Learning Group is seeking a highly motivated Work Placement Administrator to join our Work Placement team on a full-time, permanent basis. Based primarily at the Accrington & Rossendale College campus, you will coordinate placements and liaise with College staff, students and external partners to secure opportunities.

You will use multiple IT packages, manage data, and support tutors with placement processes.

Qualifications

• GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above.
• GCE A Level or equivalent (desirable).
• Experience working with people of all ages, skills and abilities on a 1:1 basis and in a group setting.
• Experience of processing information and utilising systems to monitor and track data.
• Strong attention to detail and good time management.

Responsibilities

• Administrating work placement opportunities for learners across the College in conjunction with learners and tutors.
• Utilise a variety of systems to support work placements across the wider team.
• Communicate with tutors and other curriculum staff about work placement processes, and assist them with any queries they may have in respect of processes and procedures.
• Deal with enquiries from employers, taking messages and follow-up action, as appropriate.
• Deal with confidential correspondence in a professional and discreet manner.
