Job summary

Henry Blue Ltd works with a respected college in the Norfolk area to recruit a Workplace Assessor in Childcare. The role involves visiting multiple work sites to support apprentices and deliver learning and assessment on-site and on the road as required.

The ideal candidate will hold an assessor qualification (A1, D32/D33, TAQA, CAVA or equivalent) or be willing to obtain one, possess a degree in Childcare/EY/Education, have substantial sector experience, and hold a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Assessor qualification (A1, D32/D33, TAQA, CAVA or equivalent) or willingness to work towards one.
• Degree in Childcare, Early Years, Education, or a related subject.
• Significant occupational experience within the childcare or early years sector.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (if travel is required).

Responsibilities

• Be the key contact for student work placements, to liaise with employers and deliver learning and assessment to a high standard.
• Identify suitable work experience/placement providers, to arrange placement, visits/assessments around the needs and requirements of learners in order to meet their progress and achievement targets.
• Carry out work place visits to obtain direct observation and record evidence as per course requirements.
• Report learner progress to course leaders/Curriculum Manager

They offering a position for someone who is better suited to a life on the road, working alongside employers and visitng different work sites to support their apprentices.
