Job summary

Staffbase Recruitment Ltd is supporting a very successful distributor of woodworking machinery in recruiting a Field Service Engineer to cover the Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Wiltshire region in the South Central England M4 corridor. This home-based role involves mechanical and electrical maintenance, fault finding, installation and commissioning of woodworking machines.

Qualifications

• Excellent mechanical and 3 phase electrical maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of CNC or woodworking machinery would be ideal.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Applicants with previous woodwork machinery or CNC machine maintenance experience would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Deliver maintenance, service and repair of woodworking machinery as part of a field-based team.
• Carry out fault finding and repair on pneumatics, hydraulics, motors and servo systems; read schematics/drawings.
• Machine installation and commissioning.
