Government Recruitment Service is seeking a Land Use Advisor in England to help farmers and land managers consider woodland creation and management. You will work with a broad range of stakeholders and apply land management and forestry knowledge to meet landowner objectives.

The role involves engaging with landowners, developing networks, attending events and guiding woodland creation projects from initial contact to completion, reporting to the Regional Promotion and Engagement Manager.

Responsabilités

• Plan and prioritise engagement with landowners and managers based on Area plans and priorities.
• Meet landowners to assess business requirements and identify woodland creation opportunities.
• Develop a local network with forestry and land management sectors.
• Engage with local advisors, agents and stakeholders to share woodland creation information.
• Attend events to engage farmers and provide advice on woodland creation.
• Lead on planning and delivery of local networking events and agricultural shows.
• Manage customer journey from initial engagement to woodland creation project.
• Keep lead tracker information up to date and follow up on leads.
