Job summary

MTrec Ltd in Jarrow is seeking reliable production workers to join a fast-paced workshop. The role involves general duties to support production, sanding and preparing wooden components, and operating a variety of machinery.

This temporary to permanent position offers Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 16:30pm, and a pay rate of £12.71 per hour with opportunities for overtime and progression.

Qualifications

• Should be able to carry out repetitive tasks on a daily basis.
• A positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn.
• Ability to maintain regular punctual attendance.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Robust with an ability to perform productivity tasks.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Working in a very fast working environment
• Carrying out general workshop duties to support production
• Sanding and preparing wooden components
• General duties within a specialist workshop environment
• Operation of a variety of machinery including cutting products
• Assisting with sub-assembly and building of products
• Completing quality assurance paperwork
• Undertaking general workshop labouring tasks as required
• Following general health and safety guidelines
