Job summary

Select Appointments in Ely is recruiting a Production Operative for a well-established local manufacturer. This Monday to Friday role runs 7:30am–4:00pm with a pay rate of £12.86–£14.00 per hour DOE. It is a temp-to-perm opportunity in a supportive manufacturing environment.

You will assemble products, use hand tools and machinery, measure components, and perform quality checks while keeping a clean, safe workspace and following health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, workshop or production environment.
• Experience with timber or wood is highly desirable.
• Confident using hand tools and machinery.
• Good attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and manufacture products to a high standard.
• Use a variety of hand tools and workshop machinery safely and efficiently.
• Measure, prepare and fit components with accuracy.
• Carry out quality inspections throughout the production process.
• Handle raw materials and finished products within the workshop.

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing manufacturer based in Ely. Due to continued growth, they are looking to expand their workshop team with a reliable and motivated individual who enjoys practical, hands-on work.
