Job summary

Aldem Talent Ltd is seeking an experienced Wood Machinist to join a high-end bespoke joinery manufacturer in Poole. You will operate a range of woodworking machinery to produce timber components for luxury joinery and interior fit-out projects.

The role involves reading and interpreting technical drawings, setting up spindle moulders, planers, thicknessers, panel saws and crosscut saws, and ensuring finished components meet exacting standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Wood Machinist within a joinery, woodworking or furniture manufacturing environment.
• Confident setting and operating woodworking machinery
• Good knowledge of solid timber, hardwoods, softwoods and sheet materials.
• Ability to work accurately from technical drawings and cutting lists.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate woodworking machinery, including spindle moulders, surface planers, thicknessers, panel saws and crosscut saws.
• Machine solid timber and sheet materials to precise specifications.

The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Wood Machinist to join an established, high-end bespoke joinery manufacturer based in Poole.

Our client specialises in producing exceptional bespoke joinery, furniture and interior fit-out projects for prestigious hotels, restaurants, commercial spaces and luxury residential properties.

The successful candidate will work within a well-equipped manufacturing facility, operating a range of woodworking machinery to produce high-quality timber components ready for assembly and manufacture.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate woodworking machinery, including spindle moulders, surface planers, thicknessers, panel saws and crosscut saws.
