Job summary

Soho House in London is seeking a Pizza Chef to oversee the pizza station, from dough handling to baking and plating, using fresh seasonal ingredients. You will ensure quality, timing, and presentation in a fast-paced kitchen, working with wood-fired, gas or electric ovens.

The role emphasises strong dough knowledge, oven operation, and a collaborative team mindset, with opportunities for ongoing training and professional growth within a renowned hospitality group.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as a pizza chef in a high-volume venue.
• Experience with hand-stretched dough.
• Knowledge of Neapolitan, Roman and New York–style pizzas.
• Strong time-management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dough from scratch or portion pre-made dough to spec.
• Assemble pizzas according to Soho House recipes and standards.
• Cook pizzas in a pizza oven while handling multiple orders.
• Maintain oven preheat, cleanliness and maintenance before and after service.
• Monitor and replenish mise en place for toppings, sauces, cheeses, herbs, and condiments.
• Ensure hygiene and organisation at the pizza station throughout service.
