Job summary

Fashion & Retail Personnel Ltd. Hertfordshire-based manufacturer is seeking a proactive Garment Technologist to oversee fit sessions, review samples, and develop precise technical packs from development to production.

You will ensure garments meet high standards of fit, quality and performance, collaborating with suppliers and internal teams to resolve challenges and maintain compliance throughout the process.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supply-side Garment Technologist role.
• Strong technical knowledge of garment construction, fabrics and fit.
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving approach.
• Confident communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage garment fit sessions and provide clear, constructive technical feedback.
• Review and approve samples, ensuring they meet specifications and quality expectations.
• Create and maintain accurate technical packs and size specifications.
• Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to resolve technical challenges.
• Ensure products meet relevant quality, safety and compliance standards.
