CVUK in London seeks a Senior Garment Technologist to lead development, production and quality control of ladieswear. You will collaborate with design, production and QA teams to ensure fit, performance and manufacturability.

This role requires 3–5 years in garment tech, strong pattern cutting, alteration, grading and fabric testing, with digital pattern tools (Optitex, Illustrator, CAD). 5 days in office. You will mentor juniors and travel to factories as needed.

Competenze

• Excellent technical knowledge of garment construction, pattern cutting and alteration, grading, sizing, fit evaluation and manufacturing processes.
• Must be able to amend patterns digitally using relevant software; Optitex preferred.
• Proficiency in pattern development and grading tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, CAD).
• Knowledge of fabric properties, performance testing and quality assurance processes.
• Leadership and team management abilities.

Mansioni

• Garment Development: Collaborate with the design team during initial development; review and provide technical input on sketches, patterns and prototypes for feasibility, fit and manufacturability.
• Garment Construction & Pattern Alterations: Amend patterns manually and digitally; create detailed measurement charts and graded spec sheets for bulk production.
• Garment Fittings: Conduct internal fit sessions; assess fit, comfort and appearance; implement customer feedback for bulk production.
• Fabric and Material Testing: Coordinate with suppliers and factories to ensure fabrics/materials meet performance and quality standards.
• Manufacturing Process: Collaborate with production teams to optimize processes and maintain quality and consistency.
• Compliance and Standards: Ensure garments adhere to regulations and social responsibility guidelines.
• Problem-Solving: Address technical challenges and production issues; propose innovative quality improvements.
• Team Management: Mentor junior technologists, pattern makers and related staff.
• Communication: Maintain effective communication with internal teams, suppliers and manufacturers.
• Factory Visits: Travel to factories for fittings, production quality oversight and on-site issue resolution.
