Job summary

SAN Global Fashion is seeking a Womenswear Designer to create innovative, trend-led collections from concept through to final product. You will analyze the womenswear market, fabrics, colour, print and garment construction to translate ideas into commercially successful ranges for UK and international clients.

You will collaborate with design, sales, merchandising and production teams across multiple global offices, presenting ideas, responding to briefs, and balancing creativity with price

Qualifications

• BA (Hons) Degree in Fashion Design or related discipline.
• Ideally 3+ years’ experience within womenswear design.
• Strong portfolio with commercial awareness and versatility.
• Excellent knowledge of the UK womenswear market and key retailers.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, with CAD/technical drawing skills.
• Experience with overseas factories and production teams desirable.
• Ability to interpret customer briefs into commercial products.
• Willingness to travel UK and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Create commercial, trend-led womenswear collections from concept to final design.
• Research trends, fabrics, colour, print and garment construction.
• Work with design, sales, merchandising and production teams across our global offices.
• Present ranges to customers and respond to briefs.
• Manage design process with CAD packs and specs.
• Collaborate with overseas factories to ensure production viability.
• Ensure on-time delivery and critical path adherence.
