Job summary

South Berkshire HC is seeking an enthusiastic performance coach to lead the Women’s 1st XI training and manage the team on match days. You will collaborate with the women’s club captain, first team captain and second team leadership to develop performance squads and nurture young players.

The club aims to push the first team up the leagues and balance performance with junior development, with a multi-year outlook to grow the program and attract new talent.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching at senior or women's teams.
• Willingness to develop players through a structured training programme.

Responsibilities

• Plan and run weekly training sessions.
• Coordinate with other coaches and captains to select squads with performance and development in mind.
• Work with coaches and club leadership to ensure development throughout the club and attract new players.
• Monitor performance, commitment and provide feedback on a team and individual level.
• Travel with the women's 1XI on Saturdays to manage gameplay and adapt tactics to achieve results.
