Aqua Restaurant Group is seeking a Wok Junior Sous Chef at The Shard in London. This 48-hour, full-time contract offers a pathway to advance your culinary career within a dynamic, high-end dining environment.

You will work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to craft dishes and ensure exceptional quality for guests. In this role, you will mentor junior colleagues, support the kitchen team during service, and contribute to a positive, forward-thinking kitchen culture.

As our Wok Junior Sous Chef, you will advance your culinary career in a dynamic environment and support the culinary team in preparing exceptional dishes. This is a 48-hour contract, full-time position.

Your day at Aqua:

• Culinary Creativity & Crafting Recipes for Success: Assist in preparing and presenting high-quality dishes, ensuring consistency and excellence in every plate. Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to develop new menu items and refine existing recipes, bringing fresh ideas to the table
• Team Support & Development: Support and mentor junior team members providing guidance and training to help them grow and improve their skills. You will foster a positive and collaborative work environment, ensuring effective communication and teamwork during service

You will be paid £12.71 per annum. In addition, you can be a part of the venue’s Tronc system, which may give you up to £8.34 extra per hour. The Tronc system is managed by the Tronc Master.
