Job summary

Personnel Solutions (Midlands) Limited is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Controller to provide day-to-day operational control across Receipt, Pick, Pack and Ship. You will be the on-site process expert, with a strong focus on Right First Time and WMS proficiency, supporting the customer and leading on-shift tasks.

Ideal candidates will have a solid track record in warehouse operations, DBS clearance, and at least five years of experience.

Qualifications

• Experience as warehouse controller or supervisor in fast-paced environments.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse processes (Receipt, Pick, Pack, Ship).
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues on the floor.
• Excellent customer-facing communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to coach and transfer knowledge to team.

Responsibilities

• Become a subject matter expert across the end-to-end warehouse process.
• Maintain a strong floor presence and support the team on tasks.
• Identify process issues and provide real-time troubleshooting.
• Support operation in resolving exceptions and cover shifts.
• Act as on-site customer contact and ensure Right First Time delivery.
