Job summary

Qube Recruitment is seeking an Assembly Operative for our client at Gillingham Business Park. The role is Monday to Friday, with shifts 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm, paying £13.68 per hour.

You will work with the team to assemble wiring harnesses and custom components, ensuring production targets are met. Candidates should be able to follow instructions, work to tight deadlines, communicate clearly, and be computer literate.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions and diagrams.
• Working to tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy.
• Good communication skills.
• Computer literate.
• Experience of working in a manufacturing environment is desirable
• Ability to work as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Work with the Team to create wiring harnesses and assemble custom designed CIE, training can be given.
• Use basic problem-solving skills to ensure production requirements are met.
• Report problems or concerns with the team leader.
• Observe, maintain, coordinate and complete a good standard of work.
• Follow documented policies and procedures as designated by the company.
• Follow detailed instructions, processes, and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
• Health and Safety in the workplace.
