Essential Recruitment is seeking an experienced Assembler for the Looms Department in the Chesterfield area. The role is permanent and based in a production environment, focusing on wiring harnesses, cable assemblies and loom production.

You will work to detailed assembly instructions, perform soldering and quality checks, and collaborate with production teams to meet daily targets while developing your skills and progressing within the company.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in wiring harness / cable assembly / looms production.
• Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Crimping, soldering, terminating, and cable preparation.

Responsabilités

• Precise hand-soldering of small electronic components.
• Building sub-assemblies and supporting control panel builds.
• Bench-testing systems and carrying out diagnostic checks.
• Inspecting and quality-checking your own work.
• Following detailed assembly instructions and maintaining accurate records.
• Operate loom machinery safely and efficiently.
• Meet daily production targets with production teams.
