Job summary

Morson Group is seeking an experienced Wiring & Assembly Technician (Avionics) based in Basingstoke for an initial 6-month contract. The role requires assembling and testing electronic and avionic equipment with a focus on first-time quality.

You will solder, crimp, terminate, and wire components to meet detailed engineering drawings and procedures. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of soldering experience, be meticulous, and capable of working independently or as part of a team in a

Qualifications

• 2+ years' soldering experience required.
• Experience crimping, terminating, and assembling connectors & wiring harnesses.
• Ability to read and follow detailed engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail with a quality-first mindset.
• Accurate record keeping and labour booking.
• PC literate and comfortable using electronic manufacturing systems.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Wiring & Assembly Technician (Avionics)

We're looking for an experienced Wiring & Assembly Technician to join our team, assembling and testing a wide range of electronic and avionic equipment in a quality-focused manufacturing environment.

You will be an experienced assembler with strong soldering and wiring skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality work right first time.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Proficient in soldering fine-pitch electronic components, with at least 2 years' experience.
• Experience crimping, terminating, and assembling connectors and wiring harnesses.
• Able to read and follow detailed engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and work procedures.
• Strong attention to detail with a quality-first mindset.
