Hamilton Barnes is partnering with a specialist wireless technology company to grow its engineering team. You’ll join a close‑knit group, receive hands-on mentoring, and work on cutting-edge connectivity projects across the UK.

You’ll install, commission and maintain wireless systems, gain full training on radio tech, and travel to customer sites. A 4-day week is offered with a strong work‑life balance and clear progression within a growing team.

Qualifications

  • Experience or knowledge of wireless networking and IP connectivity.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Willingness to travel and work on customer sites.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain wireless communication systems.
  • Configure and troubleshoot IP connectivity across wireless networks.
  • Support deployment of IoT Mesh Networking solutions.
  • Install and service PMR/DMR radio systems.
  • Travel to customer sites across the UK for installations and maintenance.
  • Work safely at height and in confined spaces where required.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and receive structured on-the-job training.

Whether you're a graduate with a genuine interest in wireless networking or an experienced engineer with radio knowledge, this is an opportunity to join a close-knit team where you'll receive hands‑on mentoring and work on cutting‑edge connectivity projects.

You’ll be involved in the installation, commissioning and maintenance of wireless networking solutions across the UK, supporting large-scale IoT Mesh Networking and PMR/DMR radio projects. Working alongside experienced engineers, you’ll receive full training on specialist radio technologies while developing your skills across wireless networking, IP connectivity and field engineering. Responsibilities
