Responsibilities:

  • Install radiating and feeder coaxial cables per layout drawings and site plans
  • Mount and secure passive components like splitters, couplers, and terminations
  • Perform cable terminations, VSWR tests, and continuity checks using RF test equipment
  • Assist with the setup of RF repeaters, amplifiers, and power supplies
  • Document installation work via photos and site notes
  • Follow method statements and risk assessments to maintain safety and compliance
  • Liaise with supervisors and engineers to meet project specifications
  • Help troubleshoot faults during installation
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and stock levels

Requirements:

  • Background in structured cabling or low-voltage system installation
  • Skilled with tools like drills, cutters, coax strippers, and RF meters
