Job summary

Matchtech in Wimborne is seeking a WIP Coordinator on a 12-month contract to support production operations within a regulated manufacturing environment. You will manage the movement of Work in Progress materials, ensure accurate picking, issuing and recording in the ERP system, and uphold quality, safety and traceability standards.

The role requires experience in stores, warehouse or materials management, familiarity with ERP/MRP systems, and a disciplined approach to 5S and inventory control.

Qualifications

• Experience in stores, warehouse or materials management environments.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and inventory software.
• Strong attention to detail and safe material handling.

Responsibilities

• Pick and issue stock parts to production work orders.
• Update ERP/MRP transactions accurately and promptly.
• Maintain full batch control and traceability of materials.
• Manage WIP storage locations to ensure material control.
• Carry out inventory and material movement transactions in the ERP system.
• Adhere to 5S and safety/environmental procedures.
• Collaborate with production and stores teams to meet requirements.
