Job summary

Alba Restaurant in Knightsbridge requires an experienced Restaurant Manager with a strong wine background to lead the front-of-house team and deliver an exceptional dining experience to discerning guests.

You will oversee daily operations, develop your team and maintain the highest hospitality standards, while driving wine sales in collaboration with the Sommelier and kitchen team. This role combines leadership with exquisite food and wine execution in a 2 AA Rosette setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager in a fine dining or premium hospitality environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach and develop a high-performing team.
• Excellent organisational and operational management skills.
• Commercially aware with a focus on driving sales, profitability and guest satisfaction.
• Confident in recommending, presenting and selling wine with solid knowledge of Italian and international wines.
• Experienced in food and wine pairing; able to guide guests confidently through the wine list.

Responsibilities

• Lead the front-of-house team with confidence and ensure warm, attentive, seamless service.
• Oversee daily operation of the restaurant and maintain high hospitality standards.
• Inspire and develop the team; support wine sales and guest recommendations.
• Collaborate with Sommelier and kitchen to create outstanding food and wine experiences.
• Drive commercial success by maximising revenue opportunities and maintaining service quality.
• Manage busy lunch and dinner services with calm leadership.
