Job summary

Initialize IT is seeking a SAP S/4 S/4HANA Solution Architect for a Windsor-based engagement (2 days/week) at £600/day for six months. You will lead end-to-end architecture across Finance transformation portfolios, shaping solutions from R2R to FP&A and budgeting, with emphasis on Clean Core and integration standards.

You will drive architecture decisions, assess business cases, and collaborate with SAP teams, Data & Analytics, Cyber Security and strategic partners to ensure scalable, low-risk

Qualifications

• Significant Solution Architecture experience within SAP and Finance transformation.
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance and its integration with wider SAP and non-SAP platforms.
• Strong end-to-end Finance process knowledge, particularly R2R, P2P, Payments, Treasury and FP&A.
• Experience designing complex Payments and Treasury architectures, including payment hubs and bank connectivity.
• Experience of Finance automation, ideally including BlackLine, journal automation and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end Solution Architecture across SAP S/4HANA Finance landscape, covering process, applications, data, integration, security and technology.
• Shape solutions across core Finance processes including Record to Report, Purchase to Pay, Order to Cash, FP&A, Treasury, Payments, Consolidation and Reporting.
• Provide architecture leadership for strategic initiatives including SAP S/4HANA and RISE; SAP Payment Hub and bank connectivity; Treasury and FIS Quantum; R2R automation and BlackLine.
• Lead architecture impact assessments for new demand, identifying impacts across processes, systems, data, integrations, security, controls, resources and existing programs.
• Define high-level solution designs, target architectures, integration patterns and technology roadmaps.
