Job summary

Quant Capital is seeking an IT Security Engineer to strengthen security across a large-scale Windows environment in London. This hands-on role sits close to engineering and IT operations, deploying and improving endpoint security controls, driving vulnerability remediation and supporting incident triage with PowerShell automation.

You will own vulnerability detection and remediation, improve endpoint protection across EDR, anti-malware, logging and disk encryption, and help shape security

Qualifications

• 5+ years in security or operations engineering with strong Windows experience.
• Experience deploying endpoint security tooling at scale.
• Practical incident triage, troubleshooting, log analysis and monitoring experience.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy and Windows security controls.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, document and support Windows security controls at scale.
• Own key parts of vulnerability detection, prioritisation and remediation.
• Support security incidents and production issues alongside IT Operations and engineering teams.
• Improve endpoint protection across EDR, anti-malware, application control, logging, host firewalls and disk encryption.
• Build PowerShell automation to make security workflows more scalable and repeatable.
• Help shape operational playbooks, procedures and technical security standards.
