Job summary

Techfellow Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking a Security Specialist to join a global quantitative trading organisation. The role sits between security engineering and operations, focusing on Windows platforms, endpoint protection and practical delivery of controls across a large technology estate.

You will work across vulnerability management, incident response and operational security, collaborating with IT Operations, infrastructure and engineering teams to implement effective solutions

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience across security engineering, security operations, endpoint security or Windows infrastructure roles.
• Hands-on knowledge of enterprise Windows environments, including Active Directory and security controls.
• Solid scripting foundation with PowerShell or similar to automate security processes.

Responsibilities

• Protect and secure internal computing environment across Windows platforms.
• Deploy, operate and improve endpoint protections (EDR, anti-malware, application control, host-based firewalls).
• Contribute to vulnerability management and remediation prioritisation.
• Investigate security incidents and production problems using logs and monitoring data.
• Collaborate with IT Operations, infrastructure and engineering teams to translate security needs into practical solutions.
