Job summary

RES is seeking a Wind Turbine O&M Technician to support the Turbine O&M Team in delivering projects and resolving technical issues, with a focus on mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems. The role is based near Barhill, Girvan, with UK & Ireland travel as required.

Candidates should have a technical background, experience on wind turbines (Gamesa G80 preferred), and strong fault-finding capabilities across Electrical, Mechanical & Hydraulic systems.

Qualifications

• Wind Turbine Technician with technical background and fault-finding skills.
• Experience on Gamesa G80 or similar wind turbine technology desired.
• Health and safety awareness and ability to prepare reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist Turbine O&M team to deliver projects and resolve technical issues.
• Lead component replacements and contribute to technical improvements.
• Prepare risk assessments, method statements and site procedures.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and communicate with clients on site.
