Job summary

RES in Truro is seeking a Wind Turbine O&M Technician to support the Turbine O&M Team with project delivery. This role requires a technical background in mechanical or electrical systems, good fault-finding capabilities, and an awareness of health and safety protocols.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Siemens/Bonus/Gamesa wind turbine technology and will provide essential technical assistance. This position offers opportunities for personal and professional growth within a diverse and inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Technical background in mechanical and/or electrical systems, preferably in a turbine discipline.
• Experience on Siemens/Bonus/Gamesa wind turbine technology is highly valued.
• Comfortable in preparing Risk Assessments, Method statements.

Responsibilities

• Support the Turbine O&M Team in the delivery of specific projects.
• Provide technical assistance to resolve ongoing issues and implement improvements.
• Adapt a high level of Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental awareness.

Mechanical or Electrical fault finding

Use of Hydraulic tooling

Good communication both written & verbal

Use of Microsoft Office applications
