Reward:

£36,500 - £62,000 p.a according to experience (We have a graded reward package to suit new entrants to the renewables industry through to the most experienced Wind Turbine Technicians).

Working hours - New Technician (37hrs) to Service Technician Level 3 (40hrs).

What you’ll do:

• Be a Multi-Skilled Authorised Technician under the EDFR Wind Turbine Safety Rules working on one or more Wind Turbine Variants.
• Opportunity to become a High Voltage Single Feed Senior Authorised Person under EDFR E&M Safety Rules.
• Undertake Major Components (Gearbox, Generator, Transformer, etc.) Replacements.
• Perform complex fault finding and repairs on Electrical, Hydraulic, and Converter Systems both remotely and at the Wind Turbine.
• Complete Scheduled Maintenance to high standards and take pride in the assets you maintain.
• Participate in internal & external technical and safety training to develop your skills.
• Typically work in a two-person team within a supportive environment.

What skills do you need?

You should be a skilled engineer with Electrical and/or Mechanical maintenance experience, preferably on Wind Turbines. Training for multi-skilling is available.
