Job Title: HVAC Technician

Location: North East Scotland - covering stores in Aberfeldy, Aberdeen, Arbroath, Birkhill, Dundee, Eglin, Forfar, Fraserburgh, Huntly, Inverness, Perth, Peterhead, Portlethen and Tain

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: 42.5 Hours Per Week

Salary: £46,078.36 per annum (including Standby Payment), Overtime, Travel Time, 33 Days Holiday, Private Pension & Benefits - including Private Health Care, Life Insurance, Employee Discounts

Job Purpose

We are committed to working in partnership with ASDA, aiming to provide safe, compliant, and well-maintained stores by exceeding their expectations every day.

Key Accountabilities

1. Complete the PPM schedule ensuring all paperwork is accurately completed according to procedures.
2. Respond promptly to service call/alarm requests, assess job requirements, carry out repairs within agreed times, and update call and job status.
3. Perform service and maintenance on HVAC assets, including air handling units with gas-fired heating, LPHW, DX coils, heat pump systems, single split air conditioning, LPHW boilers, pumps, inverters, DHW boilers, and water chillers.
4. Identify non-repairable faults and advise the Line Manager, recommending suitable replacements.
5. All activities must adhere to our Health, Safety & Environmental policies.

Knowledge, Skills + Abilities

1. Recognized Commercial Gas qualifications, with at least 4 of the following: COCN1, CIGA1, CORT1, TPCP1, TPCP1A, ICPN1, CENWAT, CPA1, CDGA1, CCP1.
2. F Gas (2079) qualification.
3. 17th or 18th Edition (Desirable).
