Job Description:

Vestas is offering a full-time position at the Fowler Ridge Wind Farm located near Fowler, Indiana. We are seeking skilled technicians with certifications in Basic Safety Training (BST), Basic Technical Training (BTT), and Advanced Rescue Training (ART) from the Global Wind Organization (GWO). A sign-on bonus of $2,000 USD / $3,000 CAD is available to qualified candidates.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled maintenance, fault analysis, troubleshooting, and component or blade work on wind turbines.
• Work at heights and in confined spaces, exposed to weather conditions.
• Work in teams of 2-3, climbing 1-2 turbines daily, with opportunities for overtime and on-call duties.
• Travel up to 50% annually to assist other sites as needed.

Candidate Requirements:

• Safety-focused mindset.
• Positive attitude, team player, proactive, and solution-oriented.
• 2-3 years of mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical experience; wind industry experience and certification are a plus.
