Muehlhan Wind Service in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Wind Turbine Troubleshooter to join UK projects across onshore and offshore wind farms. Wind Turbine Troubleshooter | United Kingdom Projects (Onshore & Offshore)

We are looking for experienced Wind Turbine Troubleshooters to join our UK projects across the country, supporting both onshore and offshore wind farms.

Projects may take place across the United Kingdom, providing the opportunity to work in diverse environments and contribute to some of the world's most important renewable energy projects.

About The Role

As a Wind Turbine Troubleshooter, you will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, commissioning, and maintaining wind turbines, with a particular focus on GE, SGRE, and Vestas technologies.

Working as part of an international team, you will play a critical role in maximizing turbine performance, minimizing downtime, and ensuring the reliable production of renewable energy. Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve technical faults in wind turbines from various manufacturers, with particular emphasis on GE, SGRE, and Vestas technologies.


• Perform troubleshooting activities to ensure optimal turbine performance and availability.


• Commission new wind turbines and support operational readiness activities.


• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities.


• Identify, report, and implement solutions to technical and operational issues.


• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance and reliability.


• Prepare accurate technical reports and documentation.


• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery.


• Maintain compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards at all times.

Skills, Knowledge And Experience

• Proven experience as a Wind Turbine Troubleshooter, Commissioning Engineer, or in a similar technical wind industry role.


• Experience with GE, SGRE, and Vestas turbines is highly desirable.


• Experience working in onshore and/or offshore wind environments.


• Strong ability to diagnose, analyze, and resolve technical faults effectively.
  
• Good understanding of wind turbine systems and operational processes.


• Strong communication and reporting skills.


• Ability to work independently and within international teams.


• UK resident or with right to work in the UK (mandatory).


• Relevant wind industry certifications and technical training are considered an advantage.
