Job summary

Alpine Formula One Team in Enstone invites students to join our Wind Tunnel Operations team for a 1-year placement starting July 2027. You will support day-to-day wind tunnel operation, model prep, instrumentation, data acquisition, and test execution alongside aerodynamicists and engineers.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerodynamics or Aerospace in penultimate year.
• Strong practical and problem-solving skills relevant to wind tunnel work.
• Right to work in the UK; no sponsorship available.
• Available to attend onsite assessment centre in September.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and setup of wind tunnel models and test rigs.
• Support installation and calibration of instrumentation and sensors.
• Help monitor and control test sessions, ensuring accurate data capture.
• Contribute to maintenance and improvement of wind tunnel systems and processes.
• Collaborate with aerodynamic development teams to meet test objectives.
