Job summary

ALPINE RACING LIMITED is seeking a Wind Tunnel Operations Student Placement in Enstone for a 1-year program starting July 2027. You will support wind tunnel testing from model preparation to data acquisition, working closely with engineers to deliver reliable test data for aero development.

You must be currently studying Mechanical Engineering, Aerodynamics or Aerospace and be in your penultimate year, with strong practical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for motorsport.

Qualifications

• Currently studying a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerodynamics or Aerospace and in penultimate year.
• Strong practical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on mindset.
• Familiarity with instrumentation, data acquisition systems, or mechanical testing.

Responsibilities

• Assist in wind tunnel model and test rig setup.
• Support installation and calibration of instrumentation and sensors.
• Help monitor and control test sessions for accurate data capture.
• Contribute to maintenance and improvement of wind tunnel systems.
• Collaborate with aerodynamic development teams to meet test objectives.
