Job summary

RWE Renewables UK Management Ltd. is seeking a senior engineering leader to drive operations and maintenance strategies for Rhyl Flats and North Hoyle offshore wind farms.

You will ensure safety, reliability and asset integrity while meeting regulatory and company requirements. You will lead engineering activities, manage contracts and coordinate major campaigns, with a focus on risk reduction, performance improvement and stakeholder reporting.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or equivalent industry experience.
• Proven experience in wind farm operations, asset management or similar asset-intensive industries.
• Knowledge of asset integrity, maintenance strategy and engineering risk management.
• Experience managing contracts, projects and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver long-term operations and maintenance strategies to maximise asset reliability and value.
• Provide technical leadership across wind turbines, HV systems, electrical infrastructure and balance of plant assets.
• Lead condition monitoring and asset health management to reduce unscheduled failures.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement cost-effective mitigation plans to protect asset integrity.
• Coordinate engineering modifications and major maintenance campaigns per standards and change processes.
• Manage procurement support and contractor delivery, acting as Contract Officer when required.
• Develop engineers through performance management and succession planning.
• Support stakeholders with technical reporting, root-cause analysis and business cases while driving HSSE improvements.
