Job description

Role: Wills & Probate Lawyer
Salary: £30,000 to £50,000
Location: Barnsley
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

Role Overview & Daily Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional service to existing clients, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to develop new business opportunities.
• Enhance and expand the firm's Wills, Trusts, and Probate offering within the department.
• Manage a diverse caseload of wills, probate, and trust matters independently.
• Consistently achieve KPIs and targets while aligning with the commercial objectives of the firm.
• Produce fee income in line with established targets and objectives.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in law and practice within your area of expertise.
• Maintain and enhance legal skills to ensure best practice and high-quality service delivery.
• Exercise financial control, including cash flow management, billing procedures, and collection of monies on account.
• Perform fee-earning work accurately and in accordance with the firm's quality and risk management procedures.
• Flexibility to take on additional duties as required by the firm, which may include supporting other offices or client locations.

• Previous experience in Wills, Trust & Probate (Required)
• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (Required)
• 2 years PQE & above (Desired)
