Job summary

SWWFL, on behalf of Wiltshire Wildlife Trust, is seeking Membership Recruiters to represent the Trust at pre-booked venues and events, encouraging people to join and pledge a monthly direct debit donation. The role offers flexible locations and hours with excellent earning potential.

You will engage the public, sign up members, and promote Wildlife Trust membership while working across varied sites. Full training and support are provided, including travel expenses and a company pension.

Qualifications

• Engaging, resilient personality, motivated to help wildlife.
• Conversation starter; experience in sales, fundraising or promotions is a bonus but not required (full training provided).
• Full driving license and access to a car.
• Flexible part-time or full-time daytime hours.
• Enhanced rate of £13/hour during probation (then £12.50/hr) or total commission earned, whichever is higher; average earnings £21/hour (2025).

Responsibilities

• Engage members of the public at private and public site locations to promote the work of WWT and the benefits of membership.
• Sign-up members and complete relevant membership information with data protection at all times.
• Build good relationships with local venues and encourage return visits.
• Keep up to date with Wildlife Trust activities.
