Job summary

SWWFL (South West Wildlife Fundraising Ltd) is seeking a Membership Recruiter to represent the Somerset Wildlife Trust at pre-booked venues and events. You will encourage people to join and pledge a monthly direct debit donation, helping wildlife across the region.

The role offers flexible daytime hours, travel to varied locations, training provided, and a permanent contract with holiday pay, travel expenses, and a company pension. Complimentary Wildlife Trust membership is included.

Qualifications

• Excellent people skills and resilience.
• Experience in sales, fundraising or promotions is a bonus but not required.
• Full driving license and access to a car.

Responsibilities

• Represent SWWFL at pre-booked venues and events to inspire people to join and pledge a monthly direct debit donation.
• Attend a variety of venues and events, meeting new people and discussing wildlife support.
• Provide information about the Wildlife Trust and the benefits of membership, while following training and support provided.
