Job summary

Forestry England is seeking a Wildlife Ranger for the West England district. The role is full-time (44 hours per week) on a fixed-term basis until 31 March 2029, with potential extension or permanency and a salary of £34,793 per year.

You will join the wildlife management team to protect forests and support conservation priorities, including mammal management, while upholding health and safety culture. A bespoke Forestry England vehicle is provided, and a driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• You will work as part of the district's wildlife management team, protecting forests and supporting conservation priorities, including mammal management.
• You will be a champion for our health and safety culture by demonstrating our value of ‘look out and look after’.
