Class 2 Wickes HIAB Home Delivery Driver

£15.29 per hour

Role Profile

Wincanton is recruiting for a Class 2 HIAB Driver to join our team working on our Wickes contract based in Plymouth.

• £15.29 per hour before bonus
• £31,000 per annum plus achievable legal compliance bonus of £1,920
• 39 hours average per week (annualised contract of 2028 hours per year)
• Standard working pattern: 5 days, Monday to Friday
• Starting at 0700 in the morning
• Allmi training will be provided for suitable candidates without a HIAB licence
• Inexperienced drivers will be considered

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for accurate and timely multidrop and direct deliveries
• Adhere to safe working practices to ensure safety of yourself and others
• Flexible start times as per business needs

• Maintain cleanliness of the truck

Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid in-date Class 2 licence
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Full Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
• HIAB licence – ALLMI or equivalent (advantage but not essential)
• Experience in customer-facing roles (advantage)
• Positive, flexible attitude
• Good timekeeping and ability to work unsupervised
