Job summary

Undisclosed in North West London is seeking a Range Manager to lead end-to-end range reviews across our wholesale trading business. You will partner with Buying and Category teams to plan, coordinate, and deliver range changes that drive commercial and operational benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience leading range review, assortment planning, or category management in retailer, wholesaler, or FMCG environment.
• Commercially minded and customer focused.
• Strong understanding of category management and range optimisation.
• Experience managing cross-functional projects involving buying, supply chain, operations and commercial teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
• Experience working across IT, Commercial and Internal systems.
• Experience within wholesale, convenience, grocery, or FMCG sectors.
• Understanding of supply chain and depot operations.
• Experience using category and range planning tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual and periodic range review process across assigned categories with Buying and Category teams.
• Establish review timelines, milestones, and governance frameworks.
• Ensure recommendations are supported by customer, category, sales, and operational insights.
• Lead and manage the Range Team.
• Coordinate activities across Supply Chain, Operations, Depots, Buying and File Maintenance teams.
• Identify and manage risks with product introductions, delistings, and range transitions.
• Develop detailed implementation plans for approved range changes.
• Support depot readiness, stock run-down and new product onboarding.
• Ensure end-to-end compliance with range planograms and system alignment.
• Measure impact of range changes and provide post-implementation insights.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Facilitate workshops and review meetings to drive decisions.
